BeMentionBot

BeMentionBot is our small crawler. It identifies itself with the user agent BeMentionBot/0.1 (+https://bemention.com/bot).

What it does

  • Visits the homepage and at most a few contact or about pages of a local business website.
  • Reads publicly listed business contact details so we can share a business's AI visibility results with it.
  • Respects robots.txt, fetches pages one at a time, and never submits forms.

Opting out

Add User-agent: BeMentionBot and Disallow: / to your robots.txt, or email hello@bemention.com and we will stop visiting and remove your details.
