Privacy policy

This policy explains what BeMention collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Free check form: business name, city, state, optional website, and your email address.
• Technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse. We do not store the IP address itself.
• Public business information: names, websites and public contact details of local businesses, collected from public sources to measure AI visibility and to contact businesses about their results.

How we use it

• To produce and email your AI visibility report.
• To send occasional product updates. Every email tells you how to opt out, and we honor opt-outs promptly.
• We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We host on Cloudflare and use AI providers (such as OpenAI and Google) to analyze publicly available answers. Business names and locations are sent to these providers; your email address is not.

Payments

Paid plans are sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar collects your card and billing details and shares your name, email and subscription status with us. We never see your full card number.
